Aggravating,,, annoying… frustrating… and a few other expletives…
Starting over sucks, but now I can take the opportunity to integrate what I’ve learned.
Towards the beginning of the year I started a blog. It was
gaining traction, had some positive comments on it, and actually was a fun part
of my weekly routine. Yesterday I went to check my analytics, I wanted to know
where folks who read my blog were from. I thought I could write a “how to” on
that topic as my next post. As of yesterday…
my blog has disappeared.
Aggravating,,, annoying… frustrating… and a few other expletives…
The good news is I kept most of my articles in a notebook. The bad news is I’ve lost all my followers. Starting over sucks, but now I can take the opportunity to integrate what I’ve learned.
I decided to try a different blogging platform.
I’m choosing “blogger” because it can integrate with multiple
social media platforms. It will not interfere with the space allocated to my
website by my hosting service. Having it separate from my webpage also protects
from host related issues. Blogger being
part of Google means there is a robust infrastructure, the chance of them going
down… pretty low.
